Since March 2006, Heather has overseen all corporate marketing and communication initiatives for The MGHerring Group.  In 1998, she was given the opportunity to enter her family’s business when she became an Assistant Marketing Director (and ultimately Marketing Director) at Sunrise Mall in Brownsville, Texas.  Upon her return to Dallas in 2001, she worked for the Woodmont Company as a licensed commercial real estate broker before rejoining The MGHerring Group in 2002 to pursue a career in shopping center leasing -- first as a Leasing Representative and then as Leasing Manager.  

Heather is co-chair of the ICSC Next Generation Advisory Group for the Southern Division and Texas State co-chair for ICSC Next Generation. She is also an ICSC Educational Foundation Trustee.  Heather studied business at the University of Mississippi and the University of Texas at Dallas.
